PGCBM at IIM Kashipur is an intensive one-year programme designed for aspiring business managers who seek to shape the future of global business. A key goal of the program is to help you develop your managerial skills in today’s fast-changing business environment. During this programme, you will learn key business functions, concepts, and techniques, as well as develop skills and competencies that can be applied to cross-functional challenges. Through case studies, discussions, and simulations, the PGCBM at IIM Kashipur facilitates continuous learning. As part of this programme, you will also network and take part in peer learning.

Pedagogy

  • The programme will be primarily taught through a combination of class exercises, presentations, take-home exercises, simulations and case studies
  • The course contents are organized in a way to provide the participants with an introduction to the application of content to various business aspects

Programme Delivery

  • The blended programme comprises both online and on-campus modules
  • For the online modules, the primary method of instruction will be through LIVE lectures that will be delivered online
  • Google classroom may be used to share additional course materials

Campus Immersion

One or two sessions from some of the courses may become part of the on-campus orientation. The in-campus modules are subject to the conditions that prevail at that point of time. These conditions pertain to the pandemic or other unavoidable reasons. In case the on-campus module is not confirmed due to COVID-19 situation, the same will be included in the total number of online sessions.

Who should attend?

The programme is recommended for early-career to mid-career level executive who wish to advance their careers and acquire key managerial skills.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma (10+2+3)/ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4)/ 2 Years Master’s Degree or Equivalent/ from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline
  • Min 2 years’ experience is preferable after completion of qualifying education
  • Participants who fulfil the above criteria but are not working currently are also eligible for the programme

*Note: Internships or training experiences will not be considered as full-time work experiences

Assessment & Evaluation

  • There are periodic evaluations built in throughout the duration of the course
  • These may be in the form of a quiz, assignment, Main Business Plan, case study or other objective/subjective assessment
  • The evaluations are designed to ensure continuous student engagement with the course and encourage practical learning
  • Students who successfully clear the same along with the requisite attendance criteria will be awarded a Certificate from IIM Kashipur as appropriate

Attendance Criteria

A minimum of 75% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the programme.

Course Certification

  • Participants who successfully meet the evaluation criteria and satisfy the requisite attendance criteria will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion’.
  • Participants who are unable to clear the evaluation criteria but have the requisite attendance will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Participation’
