Programme Overview

The Certificate Programme in Digital Marketing and Strategy (CPDMS) from IIM Indore provides an in-depth understanding of digital media, social media, and mobile applications for marketing and branding. The focus of the programme is to help you understand the basic concepts of marketing and their application in the digital world, have a thorough understanding of all relevant applications, experience with tools, make use of analytics for marketing evaluation, and make you capable of strategising digital marketing campaigns.

Pedagogy

It will be a mix of offline and online sessions. The teaching approach will be highly interactive leveraging technology, and deploy diverse pedagogical tools and techniques, including lectures, case studies, simulation, demonstration of tools depending on the topic under discussion, etc. The final capstone project will give participants an opportunity to work on a real-time campaign.

Programme Delivery

Sessions will be conducted via a state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform and delivered in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode that can be accessed by learners on their Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone. Participants will be provided reading materials, etc., for each course, as and when required. They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/chat mode.

A laptop/desktop with a webcam and microphone is a must for attending exams.

Campus Immersion

There will be an on-campus orientation module of 3 days (around 12 sessions) at IIM Indore. The on-campus modules are subject to the conditions that prevail at that point of time. These conditions pertain to the pandemic or other unavoidable reasons. One or two sessions from some of the courses will become part of the on-campus orientation module. In case the on-campus module is not conducted due to the COVID-19 situation, the same will be included in the total number of online sessions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma (10+2+3)/Graduate/Post-graduate (or its equivalent) from universities recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or UGC or AICTE, with minimum 50% aggregate marks in any one of them
  • At least 2 years of work experience* post completion of qualifying education

*Internships and training experience will not be considered as full-time work experience.

  • *18% GST will be additional as applicable.
  • **Participant, at the time of application, pays ₹10,000 +GST, which includes ₹2,500 towards Application Fee, ₹ 3,500 towards Programme Fee, and Bank Charges of ₹4,200.
  • In case of participants paying fee via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cheque, or DD will get a waiver of 1.5% (maximum ₹4,200) on an overall fee of ₹2,87,400. Only applicable if all payments are made through same mode
  • In case a participant profile is rejected by IIM Indore, ₹7,500 (Bank Charges ₹4,200 only for applicable cases) is refunded to candidate and ₹2,500 of the application fee is non-refundable.
  • All Fees are payable directly to Times Edutech and Events Limited (TEEL).

Assessment & Evaluation

Performance of participants will be evaluated on a continuous basis through quizzes, assignments, tests, and examinations. The participant is required to score minimum marks/grades as decided by the Institute from time to time to complete the course.

Attendance Criteria

  • Participants are expected to attend all sessions of a given course. However, they may take leave on account of emergencies subject to the approval of the Programme Coordinator.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the programme.
  • For less than 75% attendance, a grade cut will be applied as per the norms.
  • If attendance is below 30%, the participant will not be eligible for Certification

Course Certification

  • Participants who successfully complete the prescribed course of study and fulfil all other academic requirements will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion’.
  • Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Indore Executive Education Alumni status*.

*The Participant will need to apply for the alumni status separately along with the necessary fee to register themselves. Current alumni membership plans are as follows:

  • 2-year membership – ₹1,000 + Applicable Taxes
  • Lifetime membership – ₹10,000 + Applicable Taxes
